ZION & BRYCE CANYONS
geological feature called the Grand Staircase. .Again the views were out of this world, we did a short walk before heading back to the car, and an amazing thing we saw on this little walk were some bristlecone pines, the oldest living trees in the world. They live for up to five thousand years, and then take a further one thousand to rot once they are dead!! Incredible!! As the skies were getting greyer, we decided to set off on our two hundred and odd miles journey round to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in the State of Arizona. Wow, the Grand Canyon certainly had a lot to live up to, would it stun us just the same? We would be finding out pretty soon!
