IGUAZU FALLS
main entrance where we got our tickets stamped for half price entrance the next day. It was a bit of scrum getting a seat on the bus but with my fast moving through a crowd I was able to get a seat while Rob paid. We did feel mildly guilty that we jumped the queue but not enough to give our seats up! We had a very chilled and early night as we were aiming to get to the park early the next morning. We also got talking to the hostel owners who were enquiring as to whether we wanted to do a tour. These tours involved up to 3 activities, one of them being a ride in one the jetboats that heads straight under the waterfall! This we couldn’t resist so we booked ourselves onto the Green Passport Adventure Tour, which gave us 3 activities, the first being a safari through the jungle in a truck, the second being a crazy ride in a jetboat and the third being a trip on an environmental boat, which was basically you get paddled down the river in an inflatable boat! We also agreed to going in the hostel car to the
falls instead of battling with the crowded bus as it was only 3 pesos more which worked out at 50p each!
The next morning we’d had breakfast and were ready to leave by 9 a.m. It was Harry’s birthday and we both thought of him and wished we could pop back to go to his party at the weekend! Harry and Sophie will have changed more than anyone we know and I guess when we see them it will really hit home as to how long we have actually been away.
The ride to the falls was far more enjoyable from the comfort of a car and we arrived a lot sooner than we had the day before. The hostel man came to the park entrance with everyone and gave out the appropriate Adventure Tour tickets he then continued with us till we were all safely at the point of departure for the
