IGUAZU FALLS
foolishly asked if we wanted another soaking, of course we did! So the boat did a 360 degree spin and headed straight back into the falls. We were absolutely soaked but this time no matter how much people protested the boat man didn’t ask another word and headed back to the boat dock! There was much cheering and hand clapping as we made our way back, it had been great fun and we were very pleased we had decided to do it.
Back on dry land we clambered out of the boat and everybody was buzzing and laughing, people who were waiting for our boat were looking like they couldn’t wait to get into it and do what we had just done. We grabbed our stuff then headed off to the little boat that takes you over to the island - Isla Grande San Martin. We were soaked but it was hot so we knew it wouldn’t take long for us to dry off.

The island was very tranquil after the adrenalin rushed boat ride and after climbing an seemingly endless amount of steps we finally reached level ground. We had a lovely peaceful walk round the island taking in all of the views and heading to the top of the waterfall we had been under in the boat. This is where the photos of the boats were taken from, unfortunately you can’t hear the sound but I’m sure you all have enough imagination to get the idea!
After the island we headed off to get something to eat and had a great pizza and salad at one of the many restaurants/cafes. After lunch we walked around for a while longer but we were really starting to flag by this point so we were pleased that we would be spending some of the time of a slow raft. We planned to get the second to last raft of the day in the hope that the crowds would have subsided by this point. We were right and
