thankfully there were only 10 people including the guide in our raft.

It was fantastic to be floating so peacefully down the river, we were so close to the tops of the waterfalls yet you never would have realised, if you hadn’t have already seen them. The small rivers that branched off from the main one were many and we were lucky enough to see a Toucan flying between the trees. The guide was great and very informative and we learned a great deal about the area. After floating for around 20 minutes we came to a point where the guide stopped the boat and said that this was a great place for swimming, of course Rob was in like a shot but I didn’t really fancy a dip in Caiman filled waters! We were informed that the Caiman weren’t really interested in humans but thankfully I wasn’t the only one to give the swimming a miss - I’d had enough excitement for one day! down river again and it wasn’t too much longer before our raft ride was over. Although the jetboat was a fantastic buzz I think this was our favourite activity of the day, it was so peaceful and you really did get a great feel for the place.

By this point we were ready to head back, it had been another super fantastic day and although sad to leave the falls behind we felt that we had done them justice over the 3 full days in total we’d spent here.
I can’t stress how much we loved this place and it is one place that is certainly up there with the best of things we’ve seen.
