IGUAZU FALLS
tours!
Our first ride was on a truck on the Yacaratia trail which goes through some amazing forest and even though we had a guide chattering away around the whole trail it didn’t distract from the forests beauty. We were pleased to hear about all of the environmental efforts being made to save the endangered wildlife and preserve the forest. It seems that environmental issues are important to the Argentines and it was also pointed out that the realisation of the importance of the forest was being learned by both Brasil and Paraguay not to mention many more South American countries. He seemed to be understood by everyone and he really was the joker of the group. He was dressed in a pair of red Speedos and had his Handicam camcorder continually attached to his hand! He was told on numerous occasions that this wasn’t a very good idea but he just laughed and produced a carrier bag which he duly tied round the camcorder in the hope of keeping it dry! His fail safe plan of keeping his camcorder dry seemed to cause much amusement round the boat and his
