buffet style and there was absolutely loads of it! There were around 12 different dishes, ranging from meat, fish, veg curry, various salads, through to the local equivalent of spinach cooked with coconut which was absolutely delicious. Everybody ate too much and it is some of the best food I have ever eaten, it really was that good. I don’t think anyone was particularly looking forward to the Bula dancing after eating so much but to our delight it was the staffs turn to do the dancing tonight. It was a pleasure to watch them and a pleasure to still be sitting down. After the dancing they made a bonfire on the beach which was a really nice thing to do, I could have sat up all night watching the dancing flames. It was our last night at White Sandy Beach and what a night, it was been a truly wonderful day.

We woke up on our last morning feeling very subdued about leaving. Rob, Claire and Sarah went
on the Manta-Ray snorkelling trip but I gave it a miss. Unfortunately they didn’t see any but they still had a good time. There were lots of people leaving today, we were heading off with Claire and Sarah to Sunset Waya but we all were guessing that it wouldn’t be a patch on the marvellous White Sandy Beach. As we were taking down our tent, various people kept coming over and seemed genuinely sad that we were leaving, they kept saying, don’t go, stay and it was really hard to drag ourselves away. When it was time to leave there were nearly tears, it was so sad, nobody wanted us to leave and nobody wanted to leave. We’d made some great friends there and it was really sad to say goodbye and hear their Bula song for the last time.
Before we knew it, we were climbing aboard the Yellow Boat and off to our next destination. Wow this place would have a lot to live up to! It took around an hour
