It was a dinosaur of a vehicle and the cream pretend leather interior really had seen better days, but it went and got us back to Horizon without a hitch, so we can’t complain too much. I think it was starting to dawn on us that this really was the first so called ‘poor’ country we had been to in long time, well in fact the first in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia and New Zealand are very rich, white influenced countries so I guess it was good to see a truer representation of Southern Hemisphere / Polynesian culture.
