ESTEROS DEL IBERá
20TH - 27TH NOVEMBER
Wow what a morning it had been, we had checked out of two hotel rooms, headed back into Argentina and found ourselves sitting on a bus heading to Corrientes and it was only 1.15 p.m.! Thankfully it was a great comfy bus so it wasn’t any hassle making the 5-6 hour journey. The bus did keep stopping occasionally and Argentine guards came aboard and checked everything was in order. Pizza seems to be extremely popular in Argentina, so at least that means that I will always be able to find a veggie option! After dinner we headed back for an early night due to our 6 a.m. start!
We had another good bus journey down to Mercedes. We’d booked into the HI hostel there and walked the 6 blocks from the bus terminal. It was here that we met the girl with no name again! This time we introduced ourselves and found out that her name was Kelly - always nice to put a name to a face! After checking in we chilled around for a while, trying to avoid the increasing hard sell from the
