We laughed about the incompetence of the airline branch of the military but were seriously keeping our fingers crossed that we would be out of here tomorrow. There was still a lot of things we wanted to see and time was creeping by so we didn’t want to hang around for too long waiting for a plane! We asked in the hotel if anywhere would be showing the football as it was Chelsea’s all important Champions League game against Valencia, the hotel man tried to get it on his TV but with no luck. He said that no where would be showing it so after full time we headed back to the internet to find out the result - another triumphant victory for my boys and another dose of shutting up our crit
ics!!!

After this I had a spring in my step and suggested we head to a bar to celebrate a great few days and Chelsea’s superb comeback. We went round to a gringo bar and yep, they were showing the footie - doh!!! Well they were showing Man U’s amazing 7-1 win followed by Chelsea’s equally impressive win. Bugger we’d already found out the result but it didn’t really matter and meant that I could watch the game without having to get concerned in any way! So all in all it wasn’t a bad end to an amazing day, even if we were still stuck in Rurrenabaque!
